Award-winning Iranian flick ‘Damascus Time’ pulls a large number of audiences in provincial capital city of Sanadaj, Iran.

According to a recent media report, ‘Damascus Time’ which premiered Sunday at Bahman Cineplex in Kordestan’s provincial capital made the splash with three daily showings attended by audiences from different walks of life.

The notable film directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia will be on the silver screen in the Iranian province till April 20, 2018.

Hatamikia’s ‘Damascus Time’ focuses on security threats by terrorists when an Iranian plane, conveying humanitarian aid to Syria, is challenged in Damascus Airport.

Popular Iranian actors such as Babak Hamidiyan and Hadi Hejazifar as well as a number of actors from Syria and Lebanon star in the movie.

‘Damascus Time’ has recently managed to grab some awards, including Crystal Simorgh for Best Director, at the latest edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
